2025 Parade Participant Application
SWP PARADE RULES AND REGULATIONS
Before you register to participate in the parade, please take a moment to review the rules and regulations. All participants must agree to abide by the parade rules, which are necessary to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all!
PARADE - June 21, 2025 - 12:00PM
Staging for the parade is in the “Bus Barn” parking lot at the corner of Cascade & Camano Avenues.
Participants: please send a representative from your group to the check-in table (look for the yellow canopy) between 11:00 and 11:30am to sign in and receive line-up number/location.
Motorized Vehicles: for safety purposes, cars, trucks, vans, and other motorized vehicles should arrive between 10:30am and 11:00am.
Any group/vehicle not checked in by the assigned time may get bumped to the end of the parade.
CROWD & CHILD SAFETY POLICY
For the safety of all, do not throw candy or hand it out from a moving vehicle. Anything distributed must be passed out at the edge of the crowd. This will be strictly enforced by Parade Marshals.
Please do not bring balloons, confetti or other items that could become trash along the route.
Yes - well-behaved, nonreactive dogs on leash are welcome! Please make a note in your registration so we can separate groups with dogs.
In addition to dogs, well-behaved goats may participate if leashed.
No horses, please.
VEHICLES
All vehicles must be decorated! RAINBOW those babies up!
Sorry, no trailers or floats, and no passengers (human or otherwise) in open bed vehicles.
GENERAL
Parade Marshals will monitor parade flow and instruct entries to close or expand gaps. Participants must comply with their instructions.
Participants are encouraged to be festive and creative as they celebrate LGBTQIA culture in their presentations! But also, please help us keep the event family-friendly!
